I’m Kini. I’ve been teaching Cantonese since 2012 and studied Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. I’ve worked with teams at companies like HSBC PayMe, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and Industrial Bank in Hong Kong. My lessons are designed to help students from different jobs and cultures learn practical Cantonese and understand the local culture, even if they don’t use the language often.

The course is designed for English speakers. Because English and Cantonese are very different languages, I explain things in English for most of the course so that you can understand the main concepts more easily, and the transition to Cantonese is smoother and easier to understand.
No previous knowledge of the language is required.
The beginner's course is designed for those who are starting from scratch, which is why it starts from the absolute basics. However, the course is also perfect for advanced beginners, as the difficulty of the lessons will gradually increase.

This video shows what the course, videos and additional materials look like.
The course is divided into 8 sections containing more than 50 video lessons and exercises. I recommend watching the sessions in order, as the courses offer a sequential and logical learning path.
Remember that you can always go back and watch the lessons as often as needed.
All videos are in FULL HD and you can adjust the speed, audio and quality.
In all my videos, I try to use as many visual elements as possible, such as pictures, tables, and graphs. At the same time, you can also see me talking directly to you, making the lessons as engaging and entertaining as possible.
